To Edit my documentary I used Adobe Premiere Pro

I used 'default roll' title sequence for my end credits. after entering the text, I chose the speed i wanted the text to scroll and layout before adding it to my sequence.

I used text frames and transitions to make my opening title sequence:

I used a video transition at the end of the sequence before the scrolling title to fade out the final image of the ghost:

I used 'Constant Power' crossfade on most of the audio throuout my sequence, this makes it flow without and harsh cutting or changes in sound. instead they are crossfaded in:

Radio Advert : Final

After reviewing my first draft, I made a few changes and alterations to create this final piece. My main intentions where to specify the style and genre more to establish the theme of a real life documentary. I believe I have completed this by altering the script. The key features I have adapted are:

- Made the WHAT clearer. “tonight, we visit the most haunted public house in Somerset” and “ join me, Jason Jervis, as I investigate the Ring ‘O’ Bells”

- Made the WHY clearer. “our aim, to discover the truth behind reports of paranormal activity”

Radio Advert for my documentary: first draft

Here is the first draft of my radio advert. I tried to create the advert based around the genre, giving it a slightly haunted and spooky feel. For the main voice over, I used the voice of the presenter from my documentary, this gives a consistent style and link from the advert to the documentary itself. When creating the background timbres for the radio advert, I decided not to use any music, but instead use a selection of samples and sound effects. This creates a patchwork of spooky sounds, meaning the audience cant predict what they will hear next; adding to the suspense and therefore linking to the haunting genre.

After reviewing this first draft, I would say that I need to do more to specify the genre in the advert. establishing the fact that this is a documentary about real events.
