Extreme close up


Shows a small part of a characters face or object. This shot is highly detailed







Close up


Normally shows a characters head and sholders. It is a good shot for showing facial expression.











Medium Shot


Shows a character form the central body or waist upwards.














Medium Wide Shot


Normally shows a character from their knees upwards. The shot also shows the setting and surrounding of the character, but still close enough to show any facial expression.











Wide shot


A full body shot of a character form head to toe.











Extreme Wide Shot


A good shot for showing scale and fill geographical surroundings to a character.
